Question 19: Now what

I have done my questionnaire, sent it out, got the replies back, entered it into the computer, analysed it

Now what?

	a)	Write it up as it is
	b)	Get the whole team to look at the findings and discuss it
	c)	Think of any bias that could affect the results and try to think why we have these results and what they mean
	d)	Do tables and charts and graphs
	e)	Get a statistician to look at it
We should get the whole team together to discuss the results, think about interpretation, bias like non-response bias, interviewer bias, and any other things that we need to take into account when interpreting the findings. It might help to summarise the data with tables and charts and graphs and this makes it easy for others to see what the data is saying and what the findings are. It is always worth getting a statistician or someone else to look at the findings and make sure they agree with the analysis. We should not just go off and write it up without checking it and thinking about the interpretation.
