Question 13: Telephone delivered questionnaires

1

I have decided to do a telephone interview as it can reduce the cost (travel time) and I can pre-warn participants so get a reasonable response rate. What can I not do?

a)
b)
c)
d)
e)
It is true that I can't question people unless they have access to a phone and have given me their number. I can't really use this method on people who are hard of hearing (however, it is a good method for people who can not write or see well), I can't really maintain anonymity but it is a good method for dealing with complex issues that need clarification or probing.
